Our Annual Sports Carnival in collaboration with Build Alpha Kids was a huge success! With over 50 students in attendance, they kick started their day with a warmup with B.A.K Coach Jay and his team.
The team had set up multiple stations for the kids to rotate around doing different activities at each.
The children enjoyed relay races where they would line up and on the coach's whistle, they would race up to the markers and back again. There were lots of laughs and high gives amongst the kids as they cheered their team mates on.
Our fantastic staff got involved too! Participating in every activity with the children and assisting the smaller kids to achieve great things! Coach Miriam ran the ball wall, where the kids would do an obstacle course, and end up at a wall where they would attempt to throw a ball into the hoop from 1.5 meters away. They worked on their hand eye coordination.
Mrs Samia was close by to lend our little ones a hand. And she even enjoyed a run through the obstacle course with the children.
Our students enjoyed learning softball skills! They would step up to the plate and hit the ball as far as they could! They would try and hit it farther than they had their previous turn.
Our students also participated in running races! They ran thirty meters to the marker and back! We have some very fast preschoolers in the mix! We were very impressed!
By the end of the day, our students, just like our educators were ready for home time, they had enjoyed a wonderful day in the sunshine at the park, had a delicious picnic lunch and fresh fruit and were ready to call it a day. Each of the students recieved a medal for the efforts.
We are so proud of our community! Thank you to our Educators for their hard work in organizing the children for each activity, also to the Coaches from Build Alpha Kids who planned and set up each activity for our students.
