CLM Science Incursion

CLM Science Incursion

Our students had fun learning about biology during our science incursion. We took a closer look at how plants grow and behave. Hands on learning at its best.
Our educator brought flower pots for each student to learn how to plant. She showed the students how to remove the flowers from their pods.
She then had one of our students help her make small holes in the soil for the plants to go into.
Our students each recieved a pair of gloves to wear and were so delicate when holding their flowers. We were so proud of the students for their efforts and for asking questions!
Our students then planted their flowers into the soil and watered their new garden bed.
It was a great day had by all! Our students learnt so much and with hands on learning, we are positive we have a future of garden lovers on our hands!
